so yeah… it has been confirmed…

and i have less than 2 weeks to prepare everything… well, i can’t do the hantaran nor decorating the house. in fact, i don’t feel like i can be effective that day since all that i can do is cleaning up (and even that will not be perfect) or stay at the back of house…

i was totally against the date that they chose. it was a tad too close to my cousin’s wedding on the 28th. so i was really surprised when dad actually accepted the proposed date (the 25th).i was thinking of doing this at the last weekend of school holidays (3rd or 4th) but dad was against the idea. even mom was a bit reluctant to accept the date due to time constraint.

one thing that i am really scared of is my extended family’s approval of the date. i don’t want them to think that i am really selfish to have chosen that date instead of doing it some time later. engagement party is bigger than just merisik and thus will involved a lot more work and will require a lot more people.

it will be tight and with my workload is increasing (my part in the project should commence tomorrow), i hope i can cope well with everything.

i will need to explain to the MD that i need to take a half day tomorrow and take the whole week off next week.

i dunno how my sis will handle everything. she will need to prepare my hantaran and decorating the living room. and in the same time, she needs to prepare 1000 dadihs for my cousin’s wedding. hopefully i can take over the burden of preparing the dadih so that she can concentrate on the engagement party. i don’t trust myself to be able to decorate anything!

ordering food/stuff to cook – started, still a long way to go
